As the election race heats up in Gurugram, BJP candidates are implementing a grassroots approach by hosting smaller, localized events to engage directly with residents. This strategy allows them to connect with voters on a personal level, tackling specific local concerns like road repairs, water shortages, and traffic issues.
During these gatherings, candidates stress the significance of engaging with voters at a hyperlocal level. Rao Narbir Singh, the BJP candidate for Badhsahpur, expressed appreciation for the chance to hear residents’ concerns and underscored the importance of community involvement in fostering trust.
Singh pointed out that the Congress party has struggled to gain public trust over the last decade, plagued by internal conflicts and neglecting critical issues affecting Haryana residents. “The Congress has lost its credibility, prioritizing internal disputes over the needs of the people,” he stated.
He emphasized that Haryana requires consistent development and urged residents to support the current government to enhance the state’s standing. Singh expressed confidence that the BJP would have another opportunity to serve the public, citing a decade of corruption-free governance.
Mukesh Sharma, the BJP candidate for Gurgaon, also highlighted the benefits of various government initiatives, such as the Ayushman card and Jan Dhan Yojana, which have positively impacted many families in the region during a local meeting.
As election day nears, both Singh and Sharma are dedicated to building community ties. They invite residents to share their thoughts and feedback, aiming to bolster support for their campaign. By focusing on open communication with families and addressing their needs, they hope to strengthen their electoral foundation.
